Executive Chairman, MECOWA Group
Dr. Ruben Atekpe is the founder and Executive Chairman of the MECOWA Group, where he has led operations since 1998. He is an accomplished entrepreneur, educator, project developer, and investment advisor with a proven track record in attracting foreign investment and introducing global brands to the Ghanaian and West African markets. His extensive corporate governance experience includes guiding major initiatives from inception to full establishment across various sectors.
Dr. Atekpe's leadership has been instrumental in developing partnerships and facilitating over US$1.5b in foreign investments in Ghana, contributing to the region's economic growth and development.
